Why all the fuss?

As unlikely as it may seem, Eileen will soon turn 50, beating many of us to the half century mark. The dread of the approaching birthday has been the subject of conversation for some time. Now that it is here, she still looks great and despite the normal wear and tear, such as eyesight, she remains remarkably intact.

To make this a memorable time, I am asking her many friends and family to post comments about her life and friendship and of course to encourage her into the next 50.

Happy Birthday Mommy


Dear Mom, I hope you like this note to you. It’s been quite awhile since I typed to you. Violets are blue, the sun is hot I hope you have a fun walking around the city and through this adventure. I hope you like this card.

I love Mom because she is nice to me. She likes flowers, she loves me.
