Hi Eileen, First of all, Happy Birthday. It doesn't seem possible that you are 50 years old today. I can still see a beautiful little baby laying in my arms. She didn't have much hair, as were her brothers and sisters also, but when it came in it was blonde and she had lovely blue eyes. That sweet little baby grew into the wonderful woman that we know today. Dad and I are so proud of you and we are so thankful to our LORD for watching over you and protecting you as you grew up.
As we have read over all the letters that your friends and other family members have written, we want to say, ditto!!!!!!! You know that we love you very much and we pray that this will be a memorable day for you, cause, after all, 50 is young and you are young in heart and that's what really matters.
Have a wonderful weekend and we will see you tomorrow.
We love ya lots. Mom and Dad
Why all the fuss?
As unlikely as it may seem, Eileen will soon turn 50, beating many of us to the half century mark. The dread of the approaching birthday has been the subject of conversation for some time. Now that it is here, she still looks great and despite the normal wear and tear, such as eyesight, she remains remarkably intact.
To make this a memorable time, I am asking her many friends and family to post comments about her life and friendship and of course to encourage her into the next 50.
So, please log in, (sorry it requires a user name and password), and leave her with what ever comments you care to share, or email comments to: mappleget.eileenis50@blogger.com. Automatically your email will be published to this site along with any attachments such as pictures.
Thanks, Mark
